How to Prepare an Ice Cream at Home

Ice Cream Schools

Isn’t the name, Ice Cream itself enough to wake up all your taste buds?? Well, Ice Creams are available and popular all over the world. Regardless of what season it is and if it’s too hot or too cold, an ice cream will always delight you. There are a number of Ice Cream Schools who impart training on how to make different kinds of ice creams.
But it is not really easy to prepare an ice cream without a batch freezer. But from now on, you would not require buying an ice cream; you can make it in your own home with ease and that too without a machine. And for this, you would not even require any kind of Ice Cream Training.

Here is how you can make your own ice cream by a method popularly known as the Plastic Bag Method:
Ingredients:

2 cups heavy cream, chilled
1 (14 ounces) can sweeten condensed milk, chilled
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups whole milk, chilled
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt

Direction:

Firstly, you need to mix the condensed milk, vanilla, and the flavorings and pour it into a resealable container and freeze it for around 6 hours. Then in a different bowl, mix the milk, sugar, vanilla, salt, and cream until properly combined and then chill it in a freezer for around 30 minutes. What comes next is the most important part. You need to then place the ice cream mixture in a quart-size re-sealable bag ensuring that you squeeze out as much air as possible and seal it tightly. Then place the bag inside another quart bag, squeezing out as much air as possible and sealing tightly. Put the bags inside a gallon size re-sealable bag and fill with about 4 cups crushed ice and sprinkle with 4 tablespoons coarse salt. You then need to squeeze out all the air and seal it tightly again. You will need a towel to wrap the bag before shaking vigorously and massaging it. Make sure that the ice is surrounding the ice cream mixture constantly. Shake for about 5 to 8. Remember that the more you shake, the smoother your ice cream will be.
